For All Saints and All Souls
Loving and Merciful God, today we give you thanks for all the saints and all the faithful departed who have gone before us marked with faith and love. We thank you for the saints, known and unknown, whose lives reflected your goodness. Through their courage, kindness, prayer, and service, they showed us that holiness is possible in every time and place. Their example reminds us to follow Jesus more faithfully in our own daily lives. We also remember our loved ones who have died. With grateful hearts, we thank you for the gift of their lives, for the love they shared, the lessons they taught us, and the memories they left behind. Though we miss them, we trust that they remain safe in your loving care. Lord, help us to live as people of hope. In a world often filled with worry, division, and uncertainty, remind us that death is not the end. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you have opened for us the way to eternal life.
