Let us offer prayers of remembrance and gratitude this Memorial Day weekend for those women and men who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives in the military service of our nation since its inception, and for their families, friends, and other loves ones who have suffered as a result. May we allow the Holy Spirit to empower us, guide us, transform us, and act through us to bring peace to all peoples of the world.
